Whole 30 Breakfast  All American Breakfast

Two eggs, golden sweet potato hashbrowns and turkey sausage.  This is a healthier version of the All-American Breakfast from George Webb.

Ingredients for Hash Browns
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (peeled and shredded)
  • 1/4 c. sweet white onion (chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. almond  flour
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • olive oil for frying​

Instructions for Hash Browns
  • Wash, peel and shred the sweet potatoes. Rinse the sweet potatoes until the water runs mostly clear. Squeeze the rinsed potatoes to remove excess water and empty them into a medium bowl. You can also use a paper towel to try them.
  • Add onion, flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil to the sweet potatoes and mix everything well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil to a skillet and heat on medium-high.  Use a ¼ cup to measure the sweet potato into the pan and then use a spatula to flatten them out.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes, then flip and cook for 2-4 more.  Both sides should be Golden to medium brown and crispy.
  • As you finish the patties, remove them from the skillet and allow them to cool for a few minutes on a paper towel-lined plate.

Ingredients for Turkey Sausage:
  • 1 lb  Organic ground turkey
  • 1  Garlic  clove (minced)
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt


Instructions for Turkey Breakfast Sausage:


  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, you can also use a blender.
  • Mix well.
  • Form mixture into small patties, about 3" wide and 1/2" thick.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sausage patties and cook about 7-10 minutes, flipping once, until cooked through.
*If you don't want to form patties after step 2 transfer to the skillet and scramble it with your eggs or your can scramble it separate from your eggs.

​Make sure you scramble at least 2 eggs per person in order to serve the George Webb Version of the All American Breakfast.  The below scrambled eggs recipe is for 2 people.

Ingredients for the scrambled Eggs:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk (make sure the almond milk has no added sugar, not just unsweetend , check the ingredients; not the nutritional information)
  • 2 tsp of ghee
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions for the scrambled Eggs:
  • Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper in medium bowl until blended.
  • Heat ghee in a large enough skillet and add egg mixture.
  • As eggs begin to set, pull the eggs across the pan with a spatula forming large soft curds.
  • Continue to do this until there is no visible liquid egg remains.
  • Remove from heat and Serve immediately.
* If you decide to add the eggs with the breakfast sausage omit the salt and the milk.
