See And Be Seen, Especially when You are on your bike at Night!

Make sure you have a well lite bike!
There is no such thing as being too visible or bright when bicycling at night!

Rear red Light. A blinking red light gets the attention of motorists who may not notice the typical reflective lights found on your bike. You still need the reflective light, the flashing light should be an addition to the reflective light. Another option is to purchase the blinking light with reflective material that way it doubles as the rear reflective light that is required by law.

Headlamps. Get the strobe light! They give an appeal of a blinking light and therefore are less likely for a motorist to miss. Be careful with these as some of the lights are bright enough to blind motorists that are approaching you.

Reflective Vest. You can get reflective and L.E.D. vest, reflective gloves and reflective sleeves at most bike shops.

Other Body Parts. Light up your body! There are reflective ankle and wrist bands. Adding these reflective Bands will ensure you have no invisible points on your body. See and be seen!

Remember to always plan your route in advance and be prepared for any mechanical defects ( always check your bike prior to riding).
